Hydro Construction was founded in 1974, and since then, has had many opportunities to perform a wide variety of construction tasks.

1974Hydro Construction Company was Founded by Larry and Karla Rice
1974 Our First Contract with Baca Grande Crestone CO for $90,222 was Signed Six Weeks After our Founding.
1978Hydro Construction Company was Incorporated
1990Started Developing a Relationship with the CSU Construction Management Program by Hiring Interns and Participating in Department Events
1995Moved from the Basement of Larry's House to 126 W Harvard in Fort Collins, CO
1997Hydro's First Project over $1 million was the City of Fort Collins SPP Project
1998 Hydro Won the First City of Fort Collins Alternative Product Delivery System Contract
1998Moved from W Harvard to West Drake in Fort Collins, CO
2002Moved from West Drake to our Current Location: 301 E Lincoln Ave in Fort Collins, CO
2002Hydro Teamed with the City of Fort Collins to Build The Water Wagon: a Traveling Learning Center for Water Conservation
2004Hydro Construction became Employee Owned
2004Hydro held our First HydroFest to Celebrate our Relationships with Vendors, Subcontractors, Owners, and Engineers

2005American Concrete Institute (ACI) Rocky Mountain Chapter Award of Excellence - Milliken Wastewater Treatment Project

2010Ribbon Roping Champions in Johnson County, WY while Completing the Buffalo Wastewater Treatment Project
2010Hydro hosts its First Hydro Royale, Donating $12,000 to Charity
2010Started Stretch and Flex Program
2011Hydro receives the Workers Comp. Safety & Containment Award by the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment
2013Appreciation Awards and Recognition Received from the City of Loveland Water and Power Department and the Upper Thompson Sanitation District for our assistance during the Flood
